Barack Obama breakfast art, including waffle and sausage.
A few of my other current art auctions-
Republican Presidential candidate John McCain, held as a POW at the Hanoi Hilton during the Vietnam War. I painted this from North Vietnamese news footage of one of his propaganda interviews, which I discovered on YouTube.
Inspired by the official White House portrait of Democratic President John F Kennedy ('Oil Portrait of John F. Kennedy' by Aaron Shikler.)

A miniature oil painting of U.S. President George W. Bush, having a very good time. The original painting was auctioned on Ebay in April of 2008.
Except for the lack of tuxedo, the picture I worked from looked as if it could have come from the recent White House Correspondent's Association annual dinner-

Pope John Paul II miniature oil painting - Ebay Auction
A revision of a portrait of John Paul II, which closes in a few hours on Ebay. Somehow I accidentally painted a portrait of Pope John XXIII. Click through to the linked image on the description to see the much facially slenderized and improved version posted above.
The portrait right now is bidding for one dollar. Good opportunity to secure what is now a pretty accurate and personality-capturing portrait of Pope John Paul II.
A cartoon from a few years ago, revised and referencing this Bill Bennett story, and brought back to mind by the current protest against Planned Parenthood being led by a group of Black pastors following recent revelations that the abortion provider is willing to earmark donations specifically for African-American abortions.

My contribution to the ever expanding LOL Cat online library, this one referencing Hillary Clinton's recent ten point victory over Democratic Presidential nominee delegate front-runner Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania primary.
LOL Cats ( and similar) - I Can Has Cheezburger
My art gallery.
From top left- Obama, sealpoint kitty, dead scrubjay (for a scientist who studies such) dried roses, Obama, YouTube video sensation the dramatic prairie dog (for an SA goon) earth, kitler ( a cat who looks like Hitler,) Nascar driver Danica Patrick, Oprah (referred in the last cartoon), the Dalai Lama, Mr. T., fetus holding doctor's finger during surgery, Obama, and lastly, a newborn baby holding their mother's hand-all in progress.
For those who note that I'm painting Obama A LOT; he's simply the hottest political portrait subject since JFK. So far I've painted Hillary twice and each time her portrait has auctioned for a buck. You can admire and support someone without wishing to look at their face all the live-long day.
A round of Republican subjects is on the docket, including a portrait of John McCain as a prisoner of war, Ronald Reagan sporting a cowboy hat, and a very happy George W. Bush. If they don't move it's back to Obama, Obama, Obama. Voting currently taking place on Ebay.

Acknowledged in a link in the above story; I understand the above pic and perhaps some of a telephone interview will appear in an article in the print version of Tuesday's Scranton Times.
You know, it's actually a pleasant little painting.

Barack Obama waffle, interpretation of Obama's breakfast -Ebay Auction
An artistic interpretation of a recently offered Ebay auction of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's breakfast. The original auction may be no more, but it lives on here as memory captured in time and oil on actual canvas, 4 by 6 inches, sealed and signed by the artist. Cheap!

Political Cartoons (click image above for second larger size) featuring Hillary Clinton running for the 'toughest job in the world.' As if. Inspired by the Clinton campaign 'Kitchen' video, which just irked me. Non-partisan perhaps, but still irkable.
The video features footage of U.S. soldiers, all of whom are doing a job tougher than the one Hillary wants. You can't drive out of your own neighborhood without passing 1oo families working harder and with a lot more to lose than Hill. Glamour, power, influence, free breakfast and big painted portraits...a responsible job with great perks, but not the toughest.
Can she even operate a kitchen?

Sketch for the cover of my continuing Taint/Obama story arc.
For those wondering where all the cartoons went
(warning: includes political editorial cartoons on the subject of sex
cartoons having to do with pornograpy, porn and
cartoons with adult & mature subject matter)-
FaithMouse Megathread - Something Awful
Currently one of the most popular threads on the Internet, and one of a number to which I regularly post off-site. Not for children or die-hard conservatives. You'll have to journey through the entire thread to follow the current Taint/Barack Obama masturbation story-arc.
I've pretty much ended the cartoon as an ideological soapbox. It exists now as a purely artistic effort, and has exited the self-aggrandizing echo chamber of the politically anal, especially those organizations and individuals which use Christianity as a cheap and disposable power tool.
Congratulations to Alan Keyes for exiting the Republican Party. Although it dallianced briefly with supporting Ron Paul in the current election, The Constitution Party should make for a nice home for Mr. Keyes. If they screw you as well, Alan-keep in mind that the best political affiliation is probably none.

Another painting of Berlin Zoo sensation and the somewhat jaded-by-celebrity Knut the polar bear.
"For over a thousand years Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of triumph, a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeteers, musicians and strange animals from conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conquerors rode in a trimphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children robed in white stood with him in the chariot or rode the trace horses. A slave stood behind the conqueror holding a golden crown and whispering in his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting." - George C. Scott as US General George Patton

An obvious papal impersonator, drawn in the 'sketchbook' style of underground cartoonist R. Crumb.
The real pope, held hostage in a broom closet and about to be freed by a helpful spider monkey. Drawn in the style of Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould. 'Al Pacino' is a small restaurant just a few blocks away from the entrance to the Vatican museum.

Christians should pray continuously (larger image.)
I've been busily filling the world with beautiful Ebay paintings and haven't spent much time blogging, although I've posted a number of requests to fan boards. The above image is from a recent small oil which is currently available for the humble sum of one dollar.
Political nonpartisanship continues, although I don't mind taking general nods towards the great themes. Life is much nicer this way.
Otherwise I have a flu. That and the snow expected tomorrow for the Twin Cities metro area will hopefully make for a final reenactment of Winter. Begone!

A miniature oil portrait of actor and NRA President Charlton Heston, who passed away last Saturday night at 84.
Charlton Heston Portrait - Ebay Auction
I finished this painting at about 2 A.M. Monday. You may recognize the facial pose from an old studio pubicity picture; the rifle is my own addition. The original painting looks more impressive than the pic; hard to get a good image from a still-wet painting under anything else than natural light.

Hillary Clinton Democratic Presidential Candidate Portrait - Ebay Auction
A miniature oil portrait of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Clicking on my rendition of the former New York Senator will take you to my special one-day Ebay auction of the same.
Nearly completed portraits included Barack Obama as a muppet and a rendering of Prince Harry in soldier gear, the latter of which I actually began a month or so ago.
Cartooning continues as well, but I've been posting most of my newer stuff to off-site fan forums, many as paid requests. Here's a commission via SA poster Sock It, who suggested a cartoon in the style of a Rosicrucian tapestry-
